Day 01 - CARTAGENA – SUNSET BY THE BAY

Arrival in the city of Cartagena, assistance at the Rafael Núñez International Airport and transfer to the hotel for the respective check-in.

In the afternoon, assistance at the hotel and transfer to the dock for a tour of the bay of Cartagena De Indias to appreciate the sunset. At the end, return to the hotel.
Duration:90min.
Included:Transfer hotel – dock – hotel with driver only, Cuba Libre open bar, rum punch, lemonade, water and soda.

Day 02 - CARTAGENA – CITY TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the agreed time, start of the panoramic tour in a private transport unit equipped with air conditioning through the residential neighborhoods of Bocagrande, Castillogrande and Manga.

Arrival at the Cima de la Popa, where you will have a complete view of the city, guided visit to the convent and church. You will continue to the San Felipe de Barajas Castle, the most important military engineering work of Spain in America and which protected the city from pirate attacks.

At the end of this visit, you will return to the hotel along Santander Avenue where you will be able to appreciate the bastions and walls of the historic center and visit the craft center Las Bóvedas. Back to the hotel.

Day 03 - CARTAGENA – ISLA DEL ROSARIO (ISLA DEL ENCANTO) IN SHARED SERVICE

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the indicated time, assistance at the hotel and transfer to the Bodeguita dock to take a speedboat that will take you to the Rosario Islands (approx. 45 min) appreciating a panoramic view of the Bay of Cartagena and Bocachica during the tour, additional a beautiful landscape with the forts of San Fernando and San José.

Coasting the Island of Barú you will arrive at the base island in the Rosario Islands. to enjoy its crystal clear waters. There you can do snorkeling (at additional cost). Free time to enjoy the sea and the facilities.

In the afternoon you will return to Cartagena. Transfer to the hotel.

At the agreed time, start of the tour of the city's emblematic sites, among them is El Prado neighborhood, Fundadores de la Aviación Park, Metropolitan Cathedral, Carnival Museum, "Edgar Rentería" Stadium, Old Customs Building, Montoya station, Tram Station, Plaza de las Mariposas, "The Shark's Fin", Swing Bridge, Old River Administration, Par Vial Cra. 50 (Graffiti), Malecón Puerta de Oro and The Window to the World.

Transfer to the hotel.

Day 5 - BARRANQUILLA – GABO'S FOOTPRINTS IN BARRANQUILLA

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the agreed time, a tour of the emblematic places of “Gabo's life in the city of Barranquilla will begin. Among these you will visit: Plaza de las Mariposas amarillas, Old River Administration Building, Caribbean Museum, Old New York Residences Building, Old El Heraldo Newspaper Headquarters, San Blas Street, American Ice Cream Parlor, San José School, La Tiendecita, La Cueva Restaurant, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Casa de las Dávila Hotel, Cepeda Zamudio House, La Perla, Cartagena de Indias School, García Márquez Grandparents House, Tokio Warehouse, Grandparents House of Álvaro Cepeda Zamudio.

And you will return to the Restaurant "La Cueva" Cultural Heritage of the Nation. Back to the hotel.

Day 6 - BARRANQUILLA – SANTA MARTA – CITY TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the agreed time, you will be transferred by land to the City of Santa Marta.
Arrival and check in at the hotel.
Duration approx: 2 and ½ hours.

At the agreed time the tour will begin, passing through the historic center and visiting the most representative attractions of the city such as the Cathedral Basilica of Santa Marta, the oldest cathedral in Colombia and where the remains of the founder of the city Rodrigo de Bastidas are located.

You will also visit the Gold Museum or Customs House, the San Pedro Alejandrino House Museum, a sugar mill building from the time where the Liberator Simón Bolívar spent his last days. Then you will visit the statue in honor of the Colombian soccer player El Pibe Valderrama. Free time to take pictures and you will continue with a panoramic tour of Taganga or the El Rodadero sector (only one at the passenger's choice). Transfer to the hotel.

Day 07 - SANTA MARTA – CABO SAN JUAN

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the indicated time, assistance at the hotel and departure to the Tayrona PNN located 45 minutes from Santa Marta, a nature sanctuary with fascinating biodiversity, beaches and indigenous cultures. After passing through the Cañaveral sector, you will begin your walk (approx. 1 hour) along the ecological trail until you reach the Arrecifes sector, a small stop to admire the landscape and take pictures. You will continue to the beaches of Cabo San Juan (30 min approx) to take a delicious bath in the sea. Free time for lunch (included).

The return journey will be along the same path to the main entrance to the park. Back to the hotel.

Trip of a lifetime. The ship is now call Horizon. Everyone from captain Xevier to hosted Gabriella were attentive, friendly and provided super service. The food, drink, facilities exceeded our expectations. Our naturalist Fernando was an absolute gem. His enthusiasm, sense of humour, knowledge of the area and interesting scientific facts about all kinds of subjects made this trip our most memorable vacation. Что ж... Я хотела открыть для себя Южную Америку и мой выбор пал на Эквадор. Но почитав инфу в интернете и поспрашивав соотечественников, живущих там долгие годы, мне говорили, что там очень опасно, очень криминально и лучше туда вообще не соваться! Да и делать особо нечего - ничего интересного там нет. Но мне уж очень хотелось поехать и я решила найти гида. Путем долгих поисков мне дали контакты Давида. Я сразу же написала ему. Он очень подробно отвечал на все мои многочисленные вопросы. Более того, предложил сразу несколько вариантов чем можно дополнить мою программу путешествия. За два дня он показал нам столько красивых и интересных мест - мы видели редких туканов, вокруг меня кружило сотни видов колибри, побывали на плантациях кофе и какао (где мы пробовали местный кофе и шоколад), гуляли по ночному Кито, забирались на вулканы, попробовали более 30 экзотических фруктов, купались в горячих природных вулканических источниках, изучили местную кухню, повстречали многих редких животных, были в центре мира, гладили ламу, получили сертификат за яйцо - да чего тока не было! Давид всегда приезжал вовремя, он не торопил нас при осмотре достопримечательностей (а то я знаю как бывает - 5 минут и побежали дальше), давал кучу интересной информации о каждом месте и о стране в целом, подробно отвечал на все вопросы (ну мне это важно, у меня всегда куча вопросов 😄), если по дороге я замечала что-то интересное - без проблем останавливались. Даже помогал при шоппинге (и в магазине (магазины он не навязывал, я сама выбирала магазины), и на рынках)! Если вы хотите увидеть настоящий Эквадор, узнать его получше и увидеть своими глазами, понять, что он не более опасен, чем те же города Америки или Европы, что он очень красивый и безумно интересный - я очень советую вам Давида. Единственное о чем я пожалела - мало дней мы взяли на Эквадор. Думаем, вернемся сюда ещё раз и обязательно снова обратимся к Давиду дальше изучать эту страну 😊 P.S.: Возможно, получилось как целая ода, но я очень придирчивый клиент и редко кто мне может угодить😄 P.S.S.: жалко тут ограничения по количеству фото 😄😄😄
