This 9-day itinerary takes you on a journey through some of Brazil’s most famous destinations. Begin your trip in Rio de Janeiro, where you’ll have three days to explore the city’s beaches, landmarks, and nightlife. Day 1 | Rio de Janeiro

Upon arrival to Rio de Janeiro, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Rio de Janeiro has green hills, blue sky, beautiful bays, islands and marvelous beaches. It is the second biggest city in Brazil (after Sao Paulo) and, certainly, one of the most beautiful cities in the world! Blue ocean water will call you to the beach. The most popular beaches Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon, are famous for their black and white tiled promenade. From early morning to late at night you can see people playing soccer and volleyball on the golden sand of the beaches. For those who prefer active holidays, Rio offers opportunities to practice almost any sport: golf, tennis, surfing, rafting, diving, delta flight and many others. Numerous open cafeterias on the beach will offer you refreshing coconut water, freshly squeezed juices and other drinks. You can also see presentations of local musicians on the beach playing all kinds of music.

Day 2 | Rio de Janeiro

City Tour and Sugarloaf mountain

After breakfast an excursion to the Sugar Loaf is planned. The first stop is on Urca Mountain, with a wide viewing area, where you can have a snack at the bar. On the mountain of Sugar Loaf you will have a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, bridge to Niteroi, Guanabara Bay and the statue of Christ on Corcovado Mountain.

Then you will go by car to the central regions of the old Rio, where you will admire several old churches, monasteries, the main cathedral of the city, Uruguayana and Carioca streets as well as buildings built in the colonial style.

Day 3 | Rio de Janeiro

Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer Statue (4 hours)

After breakfast you set off on a tour through the city. Arrive at the station where an eco-friendly train will take you through the jungle to the top of Corcovado. On either side of the railway you will have spectacular views from Tijuca forest, inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. At the top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, rises the symbol of Rio, the statue of Christ the Savior (38 m), built in 1931. A breathtaking panorama view of the metropolis and its environs Bridge Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the world's largest stadium of Maracana, Sugar Loaf, and more is possible from the top of Corcovado.

Day 4 | Rio de Janeiro – Foz do Iguaçu

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Foz de Iguacu where you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel.

After that you will go on an adventurous tour to visit the amazing falls. Foz de Iguassu Falls are located on the borders of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, and have 275 large water flows, falling from a terrible height. Falls are located in the National Park with its unique flora and fauna, which appeared after a volcanic eruption, and the displacement of the earth formations. There are 275 waterfalls, each of which has its own name, which rush down with a crash into the canyon of "Devil's Throat". There is an amazing contrast between the calm and even lazy river water over Iguassu Falls above and the powerful overthrow boiling water flows from a height of 72 meters into the abyss. You can stand for hours, watching this show and thinking about the magnificence of the universe and eternity.

Optional: Macuco Safari

You will go on a tour through the jungle, and then get to a wonderful boat ride. In the jungle you will ride in an open jeep for about 3 kilometers, accompanied by a guide who will tell a lot of interesting things about the ecology of the region. Then you will go on foot to the banks of the Iguazu River and be taken by motor boat close to the waterfalls. You are expected to see splashes and rainbows, the sea of delight and unique photos (Optional for $125).

You will enter the huge open-air cages, where amazing, fairytale birds of outlandish colors freely fly or walk among the rainforest (optional $65).

Day 5 | Foz do Iguaçu

After breakfast you will get to the Argentinian Side of the Falls by the bridge Tancredo Neves, built over the river Iguassu. The Argentinian side is different from the Brazilian one: here you will be under and below the falls at the same time. You will feel the power of the falling water very close to you and will be able to enjoy the natural park around this astonishing beauty. You will see the birth of the “Devil Throat”.

Day 6 | Iguaçu - Rio de Janeiro - Búzios

After your breakfast in the hotel you will be transported to the airport to board your flight to Rio.

Upon arrival in Rio de Janeiro airport, your driver awaits you. From here you will be transferred to Buzios. Your accommodation will be situated on the tropical coast.

Trip of a lifetime. The ship is now call Horizon. Everyone from captain Xevier to hosted Gabriella were attentive, friendly and provided super service. The food, drink, facilities exceeded our expectations. Our naturalist Fernando was an absolute gem. His enthusiasm, sense of humour, knowledge of the area and interesting scientific facts about all kinds of subjects made this trip our most memorable vacation.  Verified Опасный Эквадор!
Что ж... Я хотела открыть для себя Южную Америку и мой выбор пал на Эквадор. Но почитав инфу в интернете и поспрашивав соотечественников, живущих там долгие годы, мне говорили, что там очень опасно, очень криминально и лучше туда вообще не соваться! Да и делать особо нечего - ничего интересного там нет. Но мне уж очень хотелось поехать и я решила найти гида. Путем долгих поисков мне дали контакты Давида. Я сразу же написала ему. Он очень подробно отвечал на все мои многочисленные вопросы. Более того, предложил сразу несколько вариантов чем можно дополнить мою программу путешествия. За два дня он показал нам столько красивых и интересных мест - мы видели редких туканов, вокруг меня кружило сотни видов колибри, побывали на плантациях кофе и какао (где мы пробовали местный кофе и шоколад), гуляли по ночному Кито, забирались на вулканы, попробовали более 30 экзотических фруктов, купались в горячих природных вулканических источниках, изучили местную кухню, повстречали многих редких животных, были в центре мира, гладили ламу, получили сертификат за яйцо - да чего тока не было! Давид всегда приезжал вовремя, он не торопил нас при осмотре достопримечательностей (а то я знаю как бывает - 5 минут и побежали дальше), давал кучу интересной информации о каждом месте и о стране в целом, подробно отвечал на все вопросы (ну мне это важно, у меня всегда куча вопросов 😄), если по дороге я замечала что-то интересное - без проблем останавливались. Даже помогал при шоппинге (и в магазине (магазины он не навязывал, я сама выбирала магазины), и на рынках)! Если вы хотите увидеть настоящий Эквадор, узнать его получше и увидеть своими глазами, понять, что он не более опасен, чем те же города Америки или Европы, что он очень красивый и безумно интересный - я очень советую вам Давида. Единственное о чем я пожалела - мало дней мы взяли на Эквадор. Думаем, вернемся сюда ещё раз и обязательно снова обратимся к Давиду дальше изучать эту страну 😊 P.S.: Возможно, получилось как целая ода, но я очень придирчивый клиент и редко кто мне может угодить😄 P.S.S.: жалко тут ограничения по количеству фото 😄😄😄
